Entry 5--Final Entry for Class

I have found all of the items we worked on during this class very useful. Every class I have taken at Millersville I have used certain things from the courses in my classroom. This course, Internet for Educators, has been the most useful. I will use almost everything I have learned in this class for my classroom.

Entry 4

This morning I began practing with html while it was still fresh in mind. I made a new website I will be linking to my teacher website at school . This one is going to be designed for all the reading sites I will be using in class. The site I use the most is raz kids, which has books leveled for children. I like this site because it will also read the books to the kids.

Entry 3

Today I was experimenting with making glogs for the classroom. I picked out a few songs from the web relating to to math and put them on two glogs so I can play them and find them easily when I am doing lessons. For me it is easier to place the songs on the glogs and link them to my teacher website.

Entry 2

Today I linked the two writng sites I am going to use with the kids to my teacher website. The two sites I liked the best were storybird and story jumpers. I double checked to make sure all my log in infrmation worked on these two sites. I will use these sites early in the year for writing.

Message for the Day

Tonight I began linking all the useful websites I will using this year to my teacher website at school. I went over several of the math games I will program into the student computers when school begins. Tomorrow I will link several of the reading sites to my teacher page.

Today we made our own websites in class. It was not as hard as I thought it would be.
